Morgan Memories \u2013 Robert E Lee Inn Menu<\/h3>\n

Based on reader feedback, the Robert E Lee Inn<\/a>, originally built as Cady\u2019s House of Sea Food in the 1920\u2019s and which sadly burned down in 1986, was a very much loved part of Morgan history.<\/p>\n

Here is a scan of an original Robert E Lee Inn menu! A huge thank you goes to long time Morgan resident Debbie Kath Jackson who indicated, “This menu is from the early 1970\u2019s, I would say probably 1972. The original was hand written by the bookkeeper Joyce Baily-Stratton, who also lived next to the R.E.Lee. I also lived and worked there at that time. A lot of fun memories, great food, and great co-workers.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Notice that you can get a T-Bone steak dinner for $8.75. That certainly was quite a while ago!<\/p>\n
